arsTNRS Founder and Director, Kansas Cafferty, LMFT, will be speaking on a panel along with two former members of the United States House of Representatives, Peter Gaumond, who is currently the Director of the Recovery Branch of the White House Office on Drug and Alcohol Policy, and Mary Bono, who has a storied history of working on recovery related legislation even against he tide of her party when necessary.  The Association of Recovery Schools is at the forefront of the recovery high school movement that is beginning to pick up steam nationwide.

Per Kansas Cafferty, this is an exciting event and is a great honor to be a part of.  Kansas has a history of working in two different recovery high schools, one in the non-profit sector that was well ahead of its time and a very upscale recovery high school in Newport Beach, making his history and insight useful to others at this event.
